For decades, New England Wire Technologies has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the scientific community. Our journey began in the 1960s supplying critical materials to the NASA Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs. From there, we partnered with Fermilab on the Tevatron particle accelerator and delivered millions of feet of superconducting materials to CERN, home of the world’s largest particle accelerator. Today, our advanced superconductor cables power some of the most sophisticated systems on the planet (including our role in the ITER nuclear fusion project) helping science reach higher, faster.
